THE REGISTRATION & CONFIRMATION OF COLLEGES IN EPASS PORTAL FOR GETTING INTO THE SCHEME OF POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS & REIMBURSMENT OF TUITION FEE.

   1.REGESTRATION OF COLLEGES:-
                All the colleges running postmatric courses in Andhra Pradesh is necessarily to be registered online in EPASS scholarship portal, http://epass.cgg.gov.in through their logins .All 11000 colleges in the state are provided with USER ID & PASS WORDS. The principals of colleges shall login to the EPASS portal and furnish the information online pertaining to the college details such as college recognition no, permitting authority, nature of the college(govt/aided/private/ universitiy),courses and intake , renewal affiliation, bank account no & IFSC code, governing body details and attached hostel status etc in the prescribed formats already available in epass site and then forward online to the DEPUTY DIRECTOR, SOCIAL WELFARE of the concerned district. The principal takes the printout of the college registration form duly enclosing all the documentary evidences for the details he furnished and then submit it to the JOINT DIRECTOR/DEPUTY DIRECTOR , social welfare of the district. Then the role of the principal ends here with regard to the registration of colleges. Such of those colleges who completes the registration process can only display to the students for claiming post matric scholarships.

2. CONFERMATION OF COLLEGES:-   
Once the college particulars are forwarded online to the JOINT DIRECTOR/DEPUTY DIRECTOR , social welfare of the concerned district, the JD/DD(SW) shall first visit & confirm the college personally  or by his machinery whether it is really functioning or not . After next, if the college is functioning, the jd/dd(sw) shall cross check and verify the details furnished by the principal with original documents and found all correct, then only the jd/dd(sw) will confirm the college. THE STUDENTS OF SUCH OF THESE CONFIRMED COLLEGES ONLY CAN GET POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS .THE SCHOLARSHIP CLAIMS OF NON-CONFIRMED COLLEGES CAN NOT BE PROCESSED BY THE WELFARE DEPARTMENTS.  
  
       A bit short of 11000 colleges have been confirmed by the social welfare department. Around 26 lakhs of students studying in these 11000 colleges are getting benefits of post matric scholarships every year in Andhra Pradesh.

EPASS SCHOLARSHIPS/AP SCHOLARSHIPS -REASONS FOR REJECTION OF A SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FORM:     When a student filed his/her application online for claiming both reimbursement of tuition fee(RTF) & maintenance fee(MTF),his application will be verified & scru itinized at three levels,ie, 1)verified by the college principal 2)by the verification officer attached to the college and 3)finally by the concerned district welfare officer of the district.  If the scholarship application will be verified & found to be correct in all the above three levels,then only that application will be gone for sanction.    In all the three levels the application will be rejected by any one of them with the following reasons.
