Reforms/Changes in post matric scholarships in 2016-17-White Ration Card allowed in place of MeeSeva income certificate

changes in epass postmatric scholarships 2016-17 & white ration card in epass:

  Govt of AP has taken some crucial reforms in post matric scholarships to reduce the hardship of students in applying for epass scholarships from 2015-16.For applying post matric scholarships(MTF) / Reimbursement of Tuition Fee(RTF), students have to submit online the latest income and caste certificates obtained from MeeSeva every year & every time. But it takes its own time to get the certificates from MeeSeva and hence students are facing  some difficulties in registration of post matric scholarships. By observing this issue, Govt of AP has issued revolutionary, reformatic & student centric orders in three aspects as follows.

 White Ration Card in place of MeeSeva Income Certificate: 

Submission of  white ration card in place of Meeseva income certificate is allowed for applying scholarships online in apepass.APEPASS is integrated with civil supplies ration card data to retrieve the students data.

Meeseva Income Certificate validity extended to four years: 

For non-white ration card holders, the income certificate issued from meeseva is valid upto four years from the date of issue of certificate.Students need not to produce meeseva income certificates every year .

Integrated Caste Certificate as permanent certificate:

Integrated Caste Certificate as permanent certificate is accepted both for registration & verification of postmatric scholarships in ap epass.caste certificate is not to be asked every time.

           The above reforms are came into force in the current year 2015-16 and will be applicable for the comming years also.
