EPASS/ AP EPASS -ROLLING CUT OFF SYSTEM APPLICABLE FOR AMBEDKAR OVERSEAS VIDYA NIDHI SCHEME(AOVN) IN AP STATE FROM 2016-17-ORDERS ISSUED BY  GOVT OF AP:

            Hey, Another major policy reform in AP EPASS SCHOLARSHIPS in the scheme of AMBEDKAR OVERSEAS VIDYA NIDHI SCHEME.

   It is a sweet and great news for the students who are willing to pursue their studies in abroad under the AP EPASS scheme of AMBEDKAR OVERSEAS VIDYA NIDHI.

EPASS - Foreign Studies through AOVN (AMBEDKAR OVERSEAS VIDYA NIDHI) SCHEME:

Financial assistance from GOVT OF AP:

 All of you aware that , Under this Great scheme selected SC/ST students will be sanctioned Rs.10.00 lakhs grant in two installments @ Rs. 5.00 lakhs each,through APePASS web portal for pursuing their higher studies in FOREIGN COUNTRIES like AMERICA,UK,AUSTRALIA,CHINA etc.  

                                                 Student can  also avail educational of loan Rs.5.00 lakhs from any Nationalized Bank at prevailing rates of interest.

·                                     Besides above, student will be sanctioned one way passage grant(economy class) and total visa fee on production of valid documents.
 
       

EPASS - Eligibility OF PERCENTAGE IN MARKS:

·             For availing such fantastic scheme,Student must have 60% marks or equivalent grade in foundation Degree in Engineering / Management / Pure Sciences / Agriculture Sciences / Medicine & Nursing / Social Sciences / Humanities for the admission into  PG and Ph.D courses in abroad and 55% of marks is required for the admission into PG MEDICINE.

ROLLING CUTOFF INTRODUCED FROM 2016-17 :

      Now The above percentage is removed and ROLLING CUTOFF of System in percentage is introduced by GOVT OF AP for the selection of students under AMBEDKAR OVERSEAS VIDYA NIDHI scheme.

        AS PER THE ROLLING CUTOFF SYSTEM, ALL THE STUDENTS WHO APPLIED FOR AOVN SCHEME ARE SELECTED BY STATE LEVEL SCREENING COMMITTEE UP TO THE LAST CANDIDATE TO THE EXTENT OF SEATS AVAILABLE (MAXIMUM SEATS ARE 300 PER YEAR) WITHOUT CONSIDERING THE MINIMUM PERCENTAGE OF MARKS.

EPASS SCHOLARSHIPS/AP SCHOLARSHIPS -REASONS FOR REJECTION OF A SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FORM:     When a student filed his/her application online for claiming both reimbursement of tuition fee(RTF) & maintenance fee(MTF),his application will be verified & scru itinized at three levels,ie, 1)verified by the college principal 2)by the verification officer attached to the college and 3)finally by the concerned district welfare officer of the district.  If the scholarship application will be verified & found to be correct in all the above three levels,then only that application will be gone for sanction.    In all the three levels the application will be rejected by any one of them with the following reasons.
